PIE FILLING COFFEE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. salad oil
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 (20 oz.) can pie filling (your choice)

Combine all ingredients, except flour and pie filling, and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, and blend after each addition; blend well. Spread 3/4 of the batter into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Carefully spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining batter over pie filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. (I wet a spoon or my fingers with water and spread and pat it until it is even..) While warm, spread with glaze made of 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 to 2 tablespoons milk.
