PATTI'S CHRISTMAS CAKE 
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. coarsely chopped raisins
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 c. butter, melted

Drain pineapple, measuring 3/4 cup syrup. Set aside. Combine flour, sugar, soda, salt, and cinnamon and nutmeg in bowl. Stir in chips, nuts, and raisins. Add eggs, drained pineapple, syrup, and melted butter. Mix just to moisten flour. Pour into 9 inch tube pan, greased and lined, on bottom with waxed paper. Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove and cool completely on rack. For easier serving, refrigerate overnight, covering.
