NOODLES LORRAINE 
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Pennsylvania Dutch brand broad egg noodles
2 tbsp. butter
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
8 slices bacon, crisp cooked & crumbled
2 c. diced Swiss or I use shredded cheddar because I don't like Swiss
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

I always double this recipe because it's great for company and wonderful warmed over. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cook noodles according to package directions, drain. In small saucepan, melt butter and cook onion until transparent. In large bowl, combine eggs, salt and nutmeg. Add noodles, butter-onion mixture, bacon and cheeses.

Place in 2 or 4 quart baking dish. Bake 45 minutes for this recipe and longer for this recipe doubled. I stir it 3 or 4 times while baking and then just let top brown lightly. Doubled makes enough for about 12 to 14 people.
