HAM LOAF 
2 lbs. ham and 1 lb. fresh pork ground together
1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 tsp. ground mustard
4 eggs

Combine above ingredients. Mix well and form into loaf. Wrap the loaf in cheesecloth. In a Dutch oven, add 1 cup vinegar to 3 quarts water. Bring to a boil. Put the ham loaf in the vinegar bath and boil approximately 3 hours. Remove the loaf from the water and let it cool, still in its cheesecloth wrap. Remove the cheesecloth after the loaf has cooled. Slice loaf before serving. May be served with a mustard or horseradish sauce. Serves 12-16.
