STRAWBERRY SALAD | |
2 c. broken pretzels 1 1/2 sticks butter 1 tbsp. sugar 8 oz. cream cheese 1 c. sugar 8 oz. Cool Whip 6 oz. strawberry Jello 2 c. boiling water 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries Mix Jello with boiling water; add frozen strawberries; chill until thick. Melt butter; add 1 tablespoon sugar and pour over broken pretzels. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool. Cream sugar and cream cheese. Fold in Cool Whip; spread over cooled pretzels. When Jello is thick, not jelled, pour over cream cheese layer. Chill. |
