RAISIN SAUCE | |
1 3/4 c. water 1 c. raisins 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. cold water 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 1 tbsp. white vinegar Bring water to the boil. Add raisins and boil for 5 minutes. Stir in sugar; reduce heat to medium. Combine cornstarch and cold water and stir into mixture. Stir in next 4 ingredients and cook until thickened. Stir in vinegar. Serve sauce warm over cooked ham. |
