WARM SALAD OF ASPARAGUS AND
GREENS
 
2 c. asparagus, cut in 2 inch pieces
5 slices bacon, cut in 1 inch pieces
1 sm. onion, sliced into rings
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. fine herbs, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. torn Bibb or Boston lettuce
1 c. torn kale or fresh spinach, or 1 1/2 c. torn sorrel
1 med. tomato, chopped
