PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 Jiffy yellow or white cake baked
1 pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 box instant vanilla pudding prepared as directed
3 bananas
1 sm. Cool Whip
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
Crushed pecans (optional)

Place strawberries in bottom of punch bowl (save about 10 strawberries for the top). Tear up half the cake and place over strawberries. Cut up 1 1/2 bananas and place over cake, place half of pudding over this, tear up remaining cake and add next, then cover with crushed pineapple, cut up other 1 1/2 bananas and add the remaining half of pudding. Last cover with Cool Whip (add nuts and remaining strawberries to decorate). Best to make up several hours before serving to allow fruits, juices, etc. to mold together well.
