COUNTRY PIE 
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. chopped peppers
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper

FILLING:

1 1/3 c. tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 c. rice, cooked

FOR CRUST: Combine all crust ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Put in bottom and sides of 9 inch pie plate.

FOR FILLING: Combine all filling ingredients, only 1/2 cup cheese. Spoon rice mix into meat shell. Cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and top with remaining 1/2 cup cheeses. Bake uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes.
