MARSHMALLOWED SWEET POTATOES 
8 med. sweet potatoes
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. hot milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. paprika
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. miniature marshmallows

Cook sweet potatoes until tender, remove skins and mash. Add butter, milk, nutmeg and paprika. Beat until free of lumps and light and fluffy. Fold in nuts. Spoon into greased casserole, cover completely with marshmallows and bake until marshmallows are browned.

Bake at 350°F approximately 30 minutes.

I never understood all of the extra ingredients in this dish. Sweet potatoes naturally have a nice taste to them. I cook, mash, dish them, and add the marshmallows and cook those til brown.
