1 stick butter, melted
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 egg for chewier brownies (2 for cake brownies)
2/3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Mix ingredients in order given. Pour this mixture into slightly greased baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Two minutes before brownies are done, put a layer of tiny marshmallows on top. Put back into oven until these melt, but DO NOT BROWN. Remove from oven and while still hot, pour icing over the top.

ICING FOR BROWNIES:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. cream or milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and slowly heat until completely melted and blended. Pour on brownies. Allow to cool and cut into squares.
