GRANDMA'S FRESH CORN FRITTERS | |
Beat 3 egg whites until stiff. Whisk 3 egg yolks in separate bowl. Add 1 3/4 uncooked corn, cut and scraped from the cob, 1/3 cup flour, 2 teaspoons sugar, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper. Fold egg whites in latter mixture. Spoon and spread out batter onto buttered or bacon greased medium hot griddle, turning once. Serve with butter or pancake syrup or neither. |
