ORIENTAL RIBS 
3-5 lbs. lean pork ribs
Salt, pepper
1 lg. jar strained baby food peaches
1/3 c. catsup
1/3 c. vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
Dash pepper sauce
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt

Rub ribs on both sides with salt and pepper. Place in a foil-lined shallow pan and bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Combine all other ingredients to make sauce. At end of 45 minute baking period, drain off grease and cover ribs with half sauce. Lower temperature to 325 degrees and bake for 1 3/4 hours, spooning on additional sauce on the ribs from time to time until all sauce is used. Cut ribs into service size pieces. (I usually cut them before I cook them, or have butcher do it). Yield: 4 servings.
