WILD RICE AND PEA POD SALAD | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix 1 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/4 c. clear Italian salad dressing 1 (6 oz.) frozen pea pods 1/3 c. sliced onion 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/3 c. slivered almonds Prepare rice mix according to directions. In a bowl, combine rice, pepper, onion, Italian salad dressing and lemon juice. Toss to coat. Refrigerate for 2-24 hours. Just before serving, rinse pea pods in warm water. Add pea pods and almonds and serve. |
