NOODLES LORRAINE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. broad egg noodles 2 tbsp. butter 1 lg. onion, chopped 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 8 slices bacon, crisp cooked and crumbled 2 c. diced Swiss cheese 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. In small saucepan, melt butter and cook onion until transparent. In large bowl, combine eggs, salt, and nutmeg. Add noodles, butter-onion mixture, bacon, and cheeses. Place in 2-quart baking dish. Bake 45 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 10 to 12 servings. |
