PEA SOUP WITH DUMPLINGS 
5 c. peas
1 c. diced carrots
1 qt. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 med. onion

Cook above ingredients until done. Then make dumplings as follows: 3 eggs 1/2 c. sweet milk 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Add 3 beaten egg whites last to the dumplings. By adding a piece of ham or bacon to the boiling soup, gives it a different flavor.
