MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
4 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brewed coffee
4 milk chocolate bars
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix flour mixture in creamed mixture, alternately with canned milk and mix well. Add vanilla and coffee and beat. Bake in deep pan, 9"x12"x2" for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Put milk chocolate bars (broken up) on top of hot cake, spread to frost. Small marshmallows may also be put on hot cake (top with chopped nuts).
