FLAKY PINEAPPLE SQUARES | |
4 c. plain flour 4 sticks butter 1 c. sour cream 1 tbsp. vanilla 3 c. crushed pineapple, drained 1 c. sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch Enough powdered sugar to garnish Mix melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla into flour. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Cook pineapple, sugar, and cornstarch until thick, heat over 325 degrees. Roll out 1/2 of dough. Place in bottom of pan and up sides. Pour filling in, roll out the other half of dough for top crust. Bake until brown, then sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
