1 (16 oz.) bag chocolate chips 1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar 2 c. plain peanut butter Milk or cream Place chocolate chips in top of double boiler over hot water. Turn heat on very low. Place sugar and peanut butter in large bowl. Knead or mix peanut butter and sugar together, adding 1 teaspoon of milk or cream at a time as needed until combination is well mixed and firm. Form into egg-shaped ovals, any size and with tongs or fork dip each egg into melted chocolate. Place carefully on waxed paper to cool, allow chocolate to set. Keep water hot but not boiling under the chocolate. The children would enjoy making these with a little help. These eggs taste similar to peanut butter dips. |
