TACO SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
2 c. taco sauce
1 onion, chopped
1 lettuce, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lb. shredded cheese
2 tomatoes, chopped
3/4 c. water
12 taco shells or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. corn chips

In skillet brown beef. Add taco seasoning mix, 1/2 cup of taco sauce and 3/4 cup of water. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. In salad bowls or individual plates put lettuce, onions, peppers, tomatoes and cheese.

Crumble taco shells or corn chips over vegetables. Add taco sauce.
