PEA DUMPLINGS 
1/2 c. cooked peas
3 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. shortening

Boil peas and water. Mix 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 teaspoons shortening, and milk to make a stiff dough. Drop spoonful of dough in boiling peas. Boil about 7 to 10 minutes.

Note: Can use beans and are just as good.
