1 c. 3 minute oatmeal, pour 1 1/2 c. boiling water over oats, let stand 20 minutes
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs

Put oatmeal in with flour first then add other ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes or until golden brown.

SAUCE:

1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 c. coconut

Mix thoroughly. Spread on cake and put under broiler and brown very lightly.
