2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. shortening (liquids)
1 c. apple sauce
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts

Bake in large greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. When cooked pour glaze on top.

GLAZE:

3/4 box of confectioners' sugar
Approximately 1/2 c. milk

Mix together and pour over squares while the squares are hot.
