2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white Karo
1/4 c. water
8 drops red food color

Cook 5 minutes. Add peanuts, cook until hard ball stage. Remove from heat, add 1 cup powdered sugar, drop on wax paper.
