DELICIOUS BAKED APRICOTS 
4 (17 oz.) cans apricot halves, drained
1 1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugarc. firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 (16 oz.) pkg. round buttery crackers, crushed
Whipped cream (optional)

Place half of apricots and half of butter in a 13 x 9 x 3 inch baking dish. Combine sugar; sprinkle half over apricots. Cover with half of cracker crumbs. Layer remaining apricots and sugar in dish. Combine remaining cracker crumbs and butter; sprinkle over top. Bake at 300 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve warm. Top with whipped cream, if desired. Yield: 15 servings.
