STRAWBERRY SLUSH 
2 qts. water
1/5 dark rum
1 qt. vodka
1 pt. strawberry liquor
2 pkgs. unsweetened strawberry kool-aid
2 cans (12 oz.) frozen orange juice concentrate
2 qts. fresh strawberries, cleaned & quartered
3 oranges, sliced
2 cans apple juice
2 bottles ginger ale
4 c. sugar

OPTIONAL ITEMS:

10 lbs. dry ice
6 bottles champagne
Assorted (seasonal) fresh fruit (i.e. melons, peaches)

1. Combine strawberries, oranges, 1 cup sugar with strawberry liquor and cover and chill overnight (also add any optional fruits).

2. Bring water to boil, add 3 cups of sugar and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool!!! Add frozen orange juice concentrate, strawberry kool-aid, items from step one, rum and vodka. Place this "punch base" in suitable size freezer containers (Tupperware bowls are great) and place in freezer.

Allow your base to freeze. This usually takes 4 to 5 days and it won't freeze solid due to the alcohol.

3. Combine apple juice with ginger ale (mock champagne) and add frozen punch base. As you add the base try to cut it into cubes about 1 inch. For a wonderful "brew" add chunks of dry ice (this not only creates a visual effect, but also keeps the punch COLD and SLUSHY!). For a high class touch replace the apple juice and ginger ale with real champagne.

By the glass: "For a quick summer treat place the punch base, ginger ale and juice in a blender. Mix on high and enjoy."
