MOM'S ITALIAN SOFT COOKIE 
COOKIE DOUGH:

4 eggs, beaten
2 sticks butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
1/2 c. milk
6 tsp. baking powder
5 c. flour

FROSTING:

1 lb. box powdered sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
Milk

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix cookie dough ingredients together. Roll in long rolls. Tie each roll in a knot. Makes 12 dozen small cookies. Bake on ungreased sheet 5 to 8 minutes. Cookies will be white on top and brown on the bottom. Let cool. Frost.

FROSTING: Mix frosting ingredients together. Add enough warm milk (about 1/3 cup) to make a smooth thick frosting.
