CREAM PUFFS--VANILLA CREAM
FILLING
 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. scalded milk
2 tbsp. butter
5 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and beaten eggs. Pour on gradually scalded milk; add butter. Cook in double boiler until thick and smooth, stirring constantly. Add flavoring and cool. Fill cream puffs with cream filling.
