JEAN'S AMISH CAKE AND FROSTING 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (#2) can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple with syrup
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour, sugar, and baking soda together. Add the eggs, slightly beaten, vanilla, nuts, and pineapple with syrup. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool.

FROSTING: Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla well. Spread on cooled cake.
