ANNIE'S TRASH SALAD | |
1 lg. head cauliflower 1 lg. bunch broccoli 1 can pitted ripe olives 1 jar stuffed olives 1 can sliced mushrooms 1 can water chestnuts 2 ripe avocados 1/2 c. thinly sliced red onions Break or cut cauliflower and broccoli into bite-size pieces. Cut or slice all others and toss. Dress with large bottle Zesty Italian dressing overnight. If you are at a stage in life where you can't chew raw vegetables that well, I suggest you steam broccoli and cauliflower for 10-15 minutes. Then cool immediately in cold water and drain before adding to salad. |
