SNOWBALL CAKE 
2 pkgs. Knox gelatin
4 tbsp. cold water
1 c. boiling water
1 angel food cake
1 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 pkgs. Dream Whip
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Shredded coconut

Soften gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water and dissolve sugar in it. Add pineapple and lemon juice. Put in refrigerator and let congeal (just until it starts to thicken).

Meantime, mix Dream Whip according to box directions. Slice angel food cake in thin slices. Place a layer of cake in oblong pan. Fold together the pineapple mixture and Dream Whip. Pour some over cake and alternate layers until used up ending with pineapple mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Next morning use either Dream Whip or Cool Whip and spread over top. Sprinkle with coconut and put cherries on top. Refrigerate. (I substitute 2 small packages frozen strawberries for pineapple.)
