1 pkg. brownie mix
1/2 c. regular flour, unsifted
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 egg
2 tbsp. water
1/2 c. (3 oz.) chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl combine all ingredients including chocolate flavor packet (in mix box); stir until well mixed. Drop from a spoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes. Let remain in oven until cookies lose their gloss; then remove. Let cool 2 to 3 minutes, removing them from cookie sheet. Complete cooling on cookie rack.
