BUTTERCREAM ICING 
4 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook flour and milk over low flame or on top of double boiler. Stir constantly until it forms a heavy paste or pudding. Let cool. When cool, add butter, butter, sugar and vanilla. Mix until it forms a very creamy texture with mix master or rotary beater. Mix for at least 20 minutes. Do not use confectioners' sugar.

Worked well and tastes great! Looked scary at first, but I just left it alone and beat it for about 40 minutes. I could have used more detail in the instructions. It may have taken longer because I put the first step in the freezer to cool and my butter may not have been at room temperature yet.

Great receipe, but cream butter with sugar before mixing these items in with the cooled mix mixture, and don't overcook or undercook the flour ans milk mixture(thick pudding).
