MINNESOTA WILD RICE SOUP 
2 c. cooked wild rice
1 sm. onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
6 lg. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
8 c. hot chicken broth
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. condensed milk
2 tbsp. dry white wine

Prepare rice according to directions on package. Saute onion, pepper and mushrooms in butter. Sprinkle in flour, stirring until mixed. Do not brown - slowly add hot chicken broth (this can be canned or made with powdered base). Stir until well blended. Add rice and heat thoroughly. Stir in wine and condensed milk and heat but do not boil.
