VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
2 sticks butter
6 eggs
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 (7 oz.) pkg. coconut
2 c. sugar
14 oz. vanilla wafers
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beat after each. Crush or grind vanilla wafers. Add to creamed mixture along with milk and pecans and coconut. Blend with spoon, pour into well greased tube cake pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Cool on rack.
