TARTAR SAUCE 
2/3 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. grated onion
1 tsp. parsley
2 tsp. chopped chives
2 drops Tabasco sauce if desired
1 tsp. chopped sweet or dill pickle
1 tsp. capers, if desired

Mix all ingredients, just enough to blend. An excellent sauce for fish. Also good on corned beef hash. Makes about 3/4 cup.
