HOT MILK CAKE 
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. scaled milk
4 tbsp. melted butter or oil
2 tsp. vanilla extract

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. molasses
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cream
1/2 c. shredded coconut

To eggs, add sugar and continue beating until lemon color. Add flour and baking powder sifted together. Add milk, butter and vanilla. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven 30 to 35 minutes. Frost.

Frosting: Melt butter, add the other ingredients. Mix well and spread over cake while warm. Place under low broiler until bubbly and lightly browned. Watch it so it will not burn.
