LEMON BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Mix well and press into 16 x 8 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

FILLING:

2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Juice of 4 lemons
4 beaten eggs

Mix above ingredients together. Pour over baked crust. Bake 25 minutes longer. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into 64 bars.

Optional: Nuts may be added.
