PEAR HONEY PRESERVES 
1 c. crushed pineapple
3 c. shredded or grated pears
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. honey

Combine ingredients and mix thoroughly in saucepan. Cook until pears are transparent and juice has become a thick syrup. Pour into 1/2 or 1 pint jars and seal while boiling hot.

Thank you I have been looking for recipe for HONEY PEAR JAM in all my cookbooks all day - this looks like the one I used last year. I think I accidentally gave away book the original was in - you saved my life because several friends have said how they liked the pear honey and I did not want to disappoint and thanks to you I will not.
