QUICK CHERRY DESSERT 
1 can cherry pie mix
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond flavor
1/2 c. butter
1 Jiffy brand white or lemon cake mix

In a 8 x 8 inch greased cake pan, place cherry pie filling in bottom with sugar, salt, and almond flavoring. Dot the butter over mixture and sprinkle DRY cake mix over cherry mixture. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees; serve hot or cold with whipped topping.
