SWEET POTATO BREAD 
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 sticks butter
2/3 c. water
2 c. sweet potatoes
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 1/2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

IMPORTANT: Flour, self-rising preferred. Eliminates need for salt and baking soda. If regular flour is used, 2 teaspoons baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Mix ingredients. Use aluminum loaf pans or coffee cans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. No need to grease pans.
