ANOTHER ANGEL DELIGHT | |
1 angel food cake 1 c. boiling water 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello 1 (1 lb.) pkg. frozen, sliced strawberries 1/2 pt. or 1 c. whipping cream or Cool Whip 2 tbsp. sugar red food coloring Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add thawed strawberries and stir to mix berries. Place wide end of cake down on serving plate. Cut 1-inch layer from top and set aside. Dig center out 1-inch from sides and bottom. Remove cake sections, tearing to small pieces. Fold pieces into strawberry mixture. Pour into cake shell. Place cake layer on top. Whip cream until thick and stir in sugar or use Cool Whip and sugar. Spread over top and sides of cake. Decorate with whole strawberries. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving. |
