SNOWBALL CAKE 
2 env. plain Knox gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
3/4 c. hot water
1 c. sugar
Juice of 1 lemon or 1 1/2 tbsp. real lemon
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1/2 sm. jar maraschino cherries, chopped
3 env. Dream Whip
1 sm. can angel flake coconut
1 round angel food cake

Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Add hot water, sugar, lemon juice, pineapple and cherries. Chill until slightly thickened. Mix two packages Dream Whip according to directions. Add to the gelatin mixture. Slice the cake and cut into inch squares.

Place a layer of cake squares in a 3 quart baking dish. (Leave small space between the squares.) Sprinkle with coconut. Place another layer of cake squares. Top with gelatin mixture and coconut. (Press down with spoon.) Mix the third package of Dream Whip and ice the cake. Top with coconut. Chill overnight.
