SOUPETTE SALAD 
1 c. Vinco Acini di Pepe (Soupettes)

Cook to package directions (do not rinse) and cool while preparing.

Drain and save juice in saucepan:

1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries

Set fruit aside in different bowl.

Cook with juice until thick.

1 c. white sugar
2 beaten eggs
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Wire whisk works best to stir.

Mix with cooled soupettes and chill overnight. A tupperware container with lid works best.

In the morning, in a large bowl, mix 1 (12 ounce) Cool Whip (do not use "lite" Cool Whip) with soupette mixture. Add fruit and mix well. Refrigerate.
