SUBMARINE SANDWICH 
1 loaf French bread
butter, softened
4 or 5 lettuce leaves
1/2 lb. salami, sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced
Salt and pepper
4 oz. Swiss cheese, sliced
1/2 lb. boiled ham, sliced
1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
1 med. onion, sliced
3 tbsp. prepared mustard

Cut bread horizontally in half. Butter bottom half. Layer lettuce, salami, and tomatoes sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer cheese, ham, cucumber and onion. Spread mustard on top bread.
