FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. strawberry Jello
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 pts. strawberries
1 pie shell, cooked

Bring all to a boil. Boil hard for 5 minutes. Cool. Wash and drain strawberries on a paper towel. Place strawberries in cooked pie shell. Pour cooled syrup mixture over strawberries. Let stand in refrigerator 5 to 6 hours. Garnish individual piece of pie with Cool Whip as it is served.
