SCALLOPED ONIONS 
3-4 lg. sweet onions, sliced
Cracker crumbs
Grated American cheese
Flour
Salt
Pepper
3/4 to 1 c. milk

Parboil onion slices and drain well. In a greased casserole, layer onions, cracker crumbs, cheese, flour, salt and pepper (approximately 3 layers each). Pour milk over the top. Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) about 1 hour 30 minutes.
