DESSERT GINGERBREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
3/4 c. boiling water

Cream wet ingredients together, add dry ingredients, sifted together. Add boiling water. Beat well. Put in greased 8x8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
