FINNISH APPLE TART 
DOUGH:

1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. flour
1 egg yolk (save white)
2/3 c. milk

FILLING:

7 peeled apples, sliced
1 c. flake cereal
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

DOUGH: Blend butter and flour; set aside. Beat egg yolk in 2/3 cup measuring cup. Add enough milk to make 2/3 cup liquid. Blend flour mixture and milk-egg mixture. Divide dough into 2 balls. Roll 1 ball into rectangle to fit cookie sheet with sides. Spread flakes on dough. Spread apples on flakes. Spread sugar and cinnamon on apples. Roll other ball of dough to rectangle. Lay on top of apples and crimp edges. Beat egg white and with brush spread on dough. Make several slits on top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
