RICE KRISPIES CARAMEL BARS | |
6 c. miniature marshmallows 1/2 c. butter 7 1/2 c. Rice Krispies 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 pkg. (32) caramels 1/4 c. butter Melt marshmallows in the butter. Add the Rice Krispies. Put half of this mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Press down well and tip on wax paper. Put other half in pan and press down. Sprinkle with miniature marshmallows until layer is covered. Then cook 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1 package (32) caramels and 1/4 cup butter. Heat until caramels are melted. Cool slightly and pour over mixture in cake pan. Then top with the layer of Rice Krispies you have on the wax paper. Cool and cut. |
